Rigel Represents CRG Lab at the NDSU-KU Joint Symposium in Kagoshima, Japan

November 5-12, 2024

In a commendable display of academic prowess in a short span of time, Mark Rigel Ali, a first-year PhD student representing the Caldona Research Group Laboratory, made waves at the 8th NDSU-KU Joint Symposium in Kagoshima, Japan. The symposium, focused on Biotechnology, Nanomaterials, and Polymers, provided a platform for emerging researchers to showcase their innovative work. Rigel's presentation was firmly based on his exciting research involving fluoropolymer coatings engineered for advanced corrosion protection—a critical area in materials science.

During the event, Rigel not only delivered a captivating presentation titled "Electroconductive Polymer-primed Fluoropolymer Coatings for Corrosion Protection," but also engaged in insightful discussions, fostering potential collaborations with fellow researchers. His efforts extended to a poster presentation, offering a visual representation of his groundbreaking work. Rigel's active participation exemplifies the commitment of young scholars to advancing knowledge and forging connections in the global scientific community.

About the Researcher
