About Me
About Me
Two of my passions are: helping others & science.
I naturally drift towards disciplines related to human and environmental health and believe that data facilitates change. Some of my favorite classes were Global Ecology, Nutrition for Health & Performance, and Research Methods in Clinical Judgement & Decision-Making.
Amidst my education, I worked as a manager at a local frozen yogurt store for three years, where I learned to master my organizational skills. I interned at Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Non-Violence, a human rights organization committed to ending violence through support, education, and community organizing. After my internship, I was hired as a Youth Advisor, where I suggested creative yet practical strategies to increase safety for Boulder community members.
I worked as a Learning Assistant for my Developmental Psychology professor, where I learned how to enhance student’s learning by using active learning pedagogical practices. I also began working as a Research Assistant in Joanna Arch’s psychology lab, where a clinical psychology Ph.D. student and I studied how probiotic L. reutri impacts human’s levels of stress and depression.
I recently completed an 8-week project-based internship with Lockton Companies, an Insurance Brokerage and Risk Management Consulting Firm, where a team and I used Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks to evaluate the utility of solar power plants.
In May 2021, I graduated from INVST, a 2-year eco-social justice leadership program, whose mission is to develop community leaders who engage in compassionate action as a lifetime commitment because we believe in a just and sustainable world.
In May of 2023, I was inducted as a Phi Beta Kappa member, whose motto reads "Love of learning is the guide of life."
Currently, I aim to attend law school the fall of 2025.
