How far is Calabreeze from the ferry terminal and train station?

Calabreeze is centrally located, approximately 3 minutes on foot from the ferry terminal to Sicily and around 8 minutes on foot from the train station. 

The closest beach can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot, with a pleasant walk along the seafront promenade, the Lungomare di Villa San Giovanni, overlooking the Strait of Messina.

The nearest airport, Reggio Calabria Airport, is located approximately 20–25 minutes away by car.

Is self check-in available, and can I stay longer?

Yes. Calabreeze offers a simple self check-in system.
Access codes are sent on the day of arrival, after receiving guest documents and city tax, shortly before 3:00 pm.

Extended stays or additional time in the room may be available upon request, subject to availability and an extra charge.

How many rooms does Calabreeze have, and how can it be booked?

Calabreeze offers two private rooms, each with its own private bathroom and accommodating up to 3 guests.

The rooms can be booked separately, in which case guests may share the kitchen and living area with other guests.
Alternatively, the entire apartment can be booked exclusively, offering both rooms and shared spaces in full privacy, for families or groups of up to 6 people.

Guests who book directly with us via WhatsApp may benefit from a 10% direct booking discount, subject to availability.

Can I bring or store my bicycle at Calabreeze?

Yes. Guests travelling with a bicycle may leave it securely stored at the entrance of the building, in the shared hall area, where a bike rack (portabiciclette) is available. Bicycles can be secured using the guest’s own lock, and the rack can accommodate up to 5 bikes.

Availability of the bike rack must be confirmed in advance, as spaces may already be in use by other guests. We therefore kindly ask guests to inform us before arrival if they plan to bring a bicycle.

Is parking available, and do I need a car?

A car is not necessary to stay at Calabreeze, as the property is centrally located within walking distance of the ferry terminal, train station, seafront, shops, and restaurants.

Parking is available nearby. Guests can usually park in front of the property, subject to availability. Alternatively, there is a private residents’ car park located just behind the building, which guests may also use.

Please note that the parking areas are private but not supervised (non custodito): they are not gated and not guarded.
