The initial housing CAD design was modified to include an attached base mount with a precise cutout for a standard 1/4"-20 threaded nut. The 1/4"-20 thread size is the universal standard for camera tripod and housing connections, providing the user a wide range a flexibility for mount options. In addition, the user may also be able to use their own existing tripods or camera gear, without making new purchases. Finally, the DC generator and 5V USB step-down buck converter CAD designs were included to test for sizing and component placement.

Underside of the central hub: pillar added for additional support and to reduce friction against the housing. Overall size reduced to improve airflow over the central hub.
Blade end design improved with added fillets to reduce stress points. Tolerances were considered and integrated for the 3-D printing process.
Assembled blade and hub design: decreased hub size in comparison to overall blade length.
