Imagine you're inside a bustling bakery. When a customer enters, the first thing you should do is hand them a menu. They'll then choose a cake shape and a frosting flavor. Next, it's time to bake the cake, add the right frosting, sprinkle on some decorations, and serve it up! And don't forget, they'll leave money on the counter once they get their cake. Make sure to collect it!

Every cake is unique! Customers might want a triangle, square, star, or even a round-shaped cake. And they'll want to top it with their favorite frosting - magenta, white, red, or brown. It's important to remember their choices and make the cake just the way they like it.

While baking, you'll notice that every customer has heart symbols above their heads. This shows how happy or patient they are. If you make them wait too long, they might get upset and leave. But if they're happy, they'll pay more for their cakes. And the more money you earn, the closer you are to reaching your goal for that round.

Dive into this delightful world of cakes and challenges! Discover how fun and rewarding it can be to serve sweet treats and spread joy to everyone who walks through the door. Ready to whip up some magic? Put on that apron and let the baking adventure begin!

After Jill saves her grandparents' bakery, she has to win the Cake Mania Bake-Off contest to send her grandparents on a cruise. Jill has to race against the clock baking sponge, chocolate, strawberry, and blueberry cakes for various business men, grandmas, construction workers, teens, and the usual town people.

I was honestly so impressed with the stunning and absolutely delicious cake Wayne and his team made for my daughter's baby shower! It was definitely worth the trek from Bondi, and I would gladly do it again. Wayne's cakes are heavenly!! Thank you so much.

As always, you never let me down. Thank you Wayne for the beautiful and delicious vegan cake for my daughter and son-in-laws wedding. It was delivered on time and beautiful as expected. The customer service is always fantastic too.

I highly recommend Cake Mania! Baker Wayne has been creating delicious cakes for my sons for years now - he's been spot-on with every theme, from SpiderMan to Pokemon to One Piece. His cakes look amazing and are always super-fresh and tasty. I also think the cakes are great value.

Jill Evans is the protagonist of the Cake Mania game series. Her job is to sell cake to her costumers. She lives in the fictional town of Bakersfield with her husband, Jack, and their kids, Rose and Oliver.

I beat the first Cake Mania. Now on Back to the Bakery I'm stuck at September year 2. I've gone back and tried to make different purchases and I still can't get past it. I come within $17 of the goal but never make it.

Help!

"Hello, my name is Kristy and I am a cake addict"

Wii.......... I thought I was the only cake dork. LOL I spotted that game across a crowded after the holiday afternoon at the mall. Hah !

Then a used sytem cake in, I mean came in, we purchased it.

sorry to say...

My daughter is much better at the game, but I am much better in the kitchen with the real thing ! LOL

If I ever get the chance to really play and I come across that road I will hopefully have an answer for you. For now...

I am off to do the real thing, almost, a dummy cake.

Let's see if I can explain this right:

I've found that both cake mania are only as hard as the supplies that you buy... meaning you will never get a cake order that requires something you haven't bought...

so to get past a stage.. don't buy anything (just upgrade speeds of oven and froster) I quit buying the TV - spend too much time fixing the channels and have learned that cookies are better are keeping the customers happy... so every once in awhile I run down the line and give everyone a cookie....

I guess I should mention that I play the DS version.. I unfortunately beat both 1 and 2 the first weekend I received them...

hope that helps a bit!

Thanks all, I guess I'll just have to keep trying. Sorry if this wasn't the proper place to post. I've never posted in the lounge before.

I played it online and beat all the available levels. So I bought it for my PC. After I beat all the levels on the first one, I purchased the second one (also for PC). Then I locked myself out of my laptop for 8 months. Now I'm back in and totally hooked on my 'new' cake game.

I've also seen it used at Game Stop, for XBOX I think.

You start out with one slow oven and one icing station. As you beat each level, you earn money and you purchase/upgrade your ovens and your icing stations, plus buy decorations and winged shoes to make you go faster. You can also buy a TV and microwave for goodies, to keep your customers happy while waiting for cakes.

As I said, my name is Kristy and I am a cake addict!

Based on the best-selling PC game by leading casual game publisher and developer, Sandlot Games, Cake Mania is a fun, fast-paced culinary challenge. Help Jill to bake, frost, and decorate ever more elaborate cakes whilst impatient customers demand to be served. Deliver the right cake to the right customer on time to meet the daily Baker Goal. If you succeed you can stop the big guys at Megamart taking over and Jill's grandparents get their bakery back!

Cake Mania features almost 50 levels of cake-baking fun, with cute cartoon-style graphics and zingy sound effects. It is available for Palm OS  5 devices with high resolution screens, from the Astraware website: with a special release discount for Club Astraware members.

This post made an interesting point that when looking to order custom cakes, we need to be decisive of the theme. That way, we will not experience any last minute changes with the cake. Since I am planning to order a custom wedding cake for my sister, I will definitely as her to decide on the theme pronto.

All 4 cakes were good old sponge cakes with fresh kiwi filling and buttercream. I was panicking the morning of the party when the first cake (victoria sponge) failed and was desperately searching for a workable recipe when i found this recipe from Baking Mum. It was light, it was springy and most importantly, it was easy. So thank you Baking Mum for saving the day!

Cake Mania and Nintendo DS are a match made in heaven -- one of the most popular Web games for women paired up with the handheld system that's growing the girl gamer market. As you'd expect, the addictive bakery-management action and simple touch-screen interface are as delicious together as yellow cake and chocolate frosting.

The Cake Mania series is back with its third installment, Cake Mania 3! Not content to confine the game to slinging cakes in fancy modern-day locales, Sandlot installed an interesting storyline that splits the game into five unique areas, each in a different time period and different place. While the core mechanics remain unchanged, Cake Mania 3 serves up something unique in the resource management series to create a wholly enjoyable game.

The overall objective of Cake Mania 3 is to serve customers the cake they ordered as fast as possible to earn more cash. Bake the right cake, put the correct icing on top, add any extras and take it to the customer right away. Between levels, use the money to upgrade to faster, more efficient machines, buy Jill better shoes so she can walk faster, or to purchase additional items that help you squeeze a little extra money out of each patron.

Once you're over the initial visual upgrade and have digested the somewhat odd storyline, Cake Mania 3 settles into familiar territory. Maybe too familiar for some, as the mechanics have barely been tweaked since the last release. Building and serving cakes is the same no matter what time period you're in, and I would have loved to see the process shifted a bit to compensate for each era's technological leanings.

The television is a good investment. It can almost make your cupcakes obsolete. Learn which channel all of the customers like and keep hitting the television buttons. Try to keep everyone at five stars for the biggest tips. Don't bother upgrading to the wide screen television. I couldn't tell any difference.

Upgrade to the refrigerator fairly soon in the game. An excellent strategy is to make the most expensive cakes ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator. It saves time and brings in more money. If you know you're going to win the level once the bakery is closed and not letting in more customers, go ahead and make a couple of expensive cakes for the refrigerator. They'll be there at start of business the next day and you won't waste any time making them. e24fc04721
