In order to help support our community, we strive to find ways of giving back. We want people to know that when they give to us, that we are taking that money to help to continue support other organizations that impact our community. Pets & Pans not only works at helping getting pets in our shelter adopted, but we work in conjunction with local businesses to suppor them in their efforts to continue to grow Lafayette.
Steel pans are not an inexpensive venture. Although, over time, they are a great investment, the start up costs to continued independence can feel burdensome. Currently we help support Blue Steel through Comeaux High School. The eventual goal is complete independence for our community.

Our long term goal is to find a way to help bring our community together through the construction of a trailer for the steel band. The purpose of this trailer is an all in one trailer that can help haul equipment, as well as support performances in parades. Having something on this level not only allows us to acknowledge supporters, but to offer opportunities for donors, and others, to ride along in parades. These opportunities are to offer availability to those that might not be part of a larger group of people that organize "floats", as well as having an opportunity to be alongside a live music performance. This trailer is set with proper lighting and sound amplification.
