Cajun Pans was started, at first, offer the ability for all people in the Acadian area an opportunity to come together and learn the art of playing steel pans. Further more it offers the chance for our community to advance its support for international music as well as Cajun music along side each other through the art of steel pan performances.

The Acadian area is a strong supporter of international music. This can be seen by Festival International which is put on every year in Lafayette, LA at the end of every April.
