Hello! My name is Caitlin Ryan. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, with a BA in Animation. My senior thesis project was an rpg game made in Unity called RPGU; I am the co-creator, lead animator, and art director for the project. I designed and animated pixel sprites for characters, enemies, and environmental assets, as well as designed level layouts and puzzles. The project led to the creation of Ordinary Fantasy, an indie game studio, and we've continued working on games since then (though it has been on a bit of a hiatus as of 2022).
I have an interest in comics, video games, cartoons, and storytelling. For as long as I can remember I’ve created characters, made fantasy worlds, and drawn my own personal comics. One day I’d love to publish something original and/or create my own cartoon series. 2D animation, character design, and world building are right up my alley.
I have experience in using Photoshop, Toon Boom Harmony, Flash, and a bit of Unity. I've done coding in Flash with both Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0, and have done some basic coding in Unity as well. I am currently teaching myself how to use Godot game engine, and have ideas for some small indie game projects.
