Cairnhill Woods Group are are members of the national charity, TCV - The Conservation Volunteers. Since 2008 we have been working with East Dunbartonshire Council to improve the woods and other local green spaces for present and future generations.
All residents of Bearsden West Community Council area are constituted to be voting members. We carry out clean ups and help to improve the woods for people and native wildlife. We occasionally run events and activities aimed at people of all ages and abilities.
If you contact us or sign up to our email newsletter, we store your name and email address, which will be stored securely in our Google Mail email list.
We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Any personal information is kept private and securely stored until a time it is no longer needed, or until you request that we remove it from our records.

We follow The Conservation Volunteers safeguarding guidance. Photos with identifiable shots of children or vulnerable people are stored by committee member who takes great care with online security. We will not include the name of a child or vulnerable person whose image is being used and don't include other detailed information about them.
