DATA DELETION REQUESTS — OVERFLOW
Overflow is published by Cairn Games. This page explains how to delete the data the game holds
about you.

HOW TO REQUEST DELETION
You can delete most of your data yourself, immediately, without contacting us:
1. DELETE YOUR CLOUD SAVED GAME
Open the Google Play Games app, go to your profile, then Settings, then "Delete Play Games
account & data". You can choose to delete the saved data for Overflow specifically without
affecting other games.
2. DELETE LOCAL DATA
Uninstalling Overflow removes everything the game stored on your device — your progress,
settings and preferences.
3. REQUEST DELETION OF ANALYTICS AND CRASH DATA
Email us at cairngames@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request". We will delete
the analytics and crash-report data associated with your app installation where we are able to
identify it, and confirm once done. Please send this from an address we can reply to.
We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
WHAT IS DELETED
• Cloud saved game data — coin balance, level scores and star ratings, cosmetic items owned and
selected, powerup inventory, tutorial progress, daily-login streak, and sound settings.
Deleted immediately when you delete it via Google Play Games.
• Local game data — the same game state, stored on your device only.
Deleted immediately when you uninstall the app.
• Analytics data — records of levels started, completed and failed, including level number, stars
earned, score, board coverage and attempt duration, along with the automatically collected device
model, operating system version and app instance identifier.
Deleted on request.
• Crash and error reports — error messages, stack traces, device model, operating system version
and app version.
Deleted on request.
WHAT IS KEPT, AND FOR HOW LONG
• We keep no account for you, because Overflow has no accounts of its own. There is no profile,
username, email address or password held by us to delete.
• Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics for Firebase retention settings, and
is automatically deleted when that period expires even if you make no request.
• Crash reports are retained by Firebase Crashlytics under Google's standard retention period for
that service.
• Aggregated and anonymised statistics that cannot be linked back to you or your device may be kept
indefinitely — for example, "the average completion time for level 12". This contains no
identifiers.
• We may retain records of a deletion request itself where we need to in order to show that we
complied with it.
