The Diocesan shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Light (Nuestra Señora de la Luz) is one of Cainta's oldest churches. Built in stone in 1707 (Jesuit effort) and completed under Father Joaquín Sánchez in 1716.
It was elevated to a parish in 1760.
The church has valuable Spanish-era art, old paintings, murals (including one by National Artist Fernando Amorsolo), etc.
A war memorial located in Barangay San Juan, Cainta. It honors the armed resistance / guerilla fighters during World War II.
Cainta’s first museum, opened May 23, 2025, located at No. 73 A. Bonifacio Avenue, Brgy. Sto. Domingo. It occupies the old Municipio building/Liwasang Bayan site. Exhibits include processional images and history of the Sepoys.
