Problem Statement:  According to the United States Food and Drug Administration, reports of injuries in 2018 involving 39 children between the ages of  7 to 18 months have ended in fatalities. Unsafe teething products such as amber and hazelwood are commonly used despite recommendations and concerns against them, corroborated by recent reports of strangulations, suffocations, and death attributed to their use.
