2011年に室蘭工業大学で博士号を取得後、同大学で博士研究員に着任。その後、遠藤剛教授の研究グループにて、2015年に近畿大学分子工学研究所の博士研究員、2019年に九州工業大学分子工学研究所の特任助教に着任。2020年に九州工業大学大学院工学研究院の准教授に着任し、現在に至る。2023年からJSTさきがけ研究員を兼任。ケミカルリサイクル、自己修復、形状記憶ポリマーなどのサスティナブルな機能を有する高分子材料の開発を行っている。
He received his Ph.D. from the Muroran Institute of Technology (Japan) in 2011, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the same university. Then, he joined Prof. Takeshi Endo’s research group in 2015, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Molecular Engineering at Kindai University (2015-2019) and an assistant professor at the Institute of Molecular Engineering in Kyushu Institute of Technology (2019-2020). He has been an Associate Professor at the Kyushu Institute of Technology since 2020. His research interests are sustainable polymeric materials such as chemical recycling, self-healing, and shape-memory polymers.

2004年1月に京都大学工学部高分子化学専攻にて博士号を取得後、同年3月九州工業大学に助手として着任。2020年に九州工業大学大学院工学研究院の准教授に昇任し、現在に至る。2007年高分子学会高分子研究奨励賞受賞。日本粘土学会理事。高分子化学・コロイド化学を基盤として、ミクロな構造体(セルロース微粒子、粘土鉱物微粒子など)を組み上げてマクロな構造体を創出するような研究を行っている。
After earning her Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University in January 2004, she joined Kyushu Institute of Technology as an assistant professor in March of the same year. She was promoted to Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2020, a position she holds to this day. She received an award (Encouragement of Polymer Research) from The Society of Polymer Science, Japan in 2007. She serves as a menber of board of directors of The Clay Science Socierty of Japan. Based on polymer chemistry and colloid chemistry, her research focuses on assembling microscopic structures (such as cellulose nanoparticles and clay mineral nanoparticles) to create macroscopic structures.

2007年3月に北海道大学にて博士(地球環境科学)の学位を取得後、同年4月に九州工業大学大学院工学研究院・助教に着任。2012年11月に同研究院・准教授に昇任、2020年4月に同大学大学院生命体工学研究科・准教授へ異動、2023年1月に同研究科・教授に昇任し、現在に至る。材料の特性を理解するための分光システムの開発、および光触媒をはじめとする光機能性材料の開発を進めている。
He received his Ph.D. from the Hokkaido University (Japan) in March 2007. Then, he was appointed as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology in April 2007, and he was promoted to an assistant professor at the same school in November 2012. In April 2020, he became an associate professor at the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, and he was promoted to professor at the same school in January 2023. He is developing spectroscopic systems as well as photofunctional materials such as photocatalysts.

2018年3月に同志社大学機械工学専攻にて博士(工学)の学位を取得後、同年4月に同大学・先端複合材料研究センターにて特別研究員として着任。2019年に神奈川大学特別助教、2022年に福岡大学助教を経て、2024年4月より九州工業大学大学院工学研究院准教授として着任し、現在に至る。高分子材料および高分子複合材料の成形加工プロセスを専門とし、成形過程における構造形成メカニズムの解明と、その知見に基づく材料・構造の高度制御に関する研究に取り組んでいる。
He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Doshisha University in March 2018 and joined the Doshisha University Research and Development Center for Advanced Composite Materials as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in April of the same year. He served as an Assistant Professor at Kanagawa University (April 2019– March 2022) and Fukuoka University (April 2022– March 2024). Since April 2024, he has been an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology. His research focuses on manufacturing process of polymer and polymer composite, particularly on elucidating structure formation mechanisms during processing and controlling material properties through process design.

2015年に九州大学大学院総合理工学府量子プロセス理工学専攻にて博士(工学)の学位を取得後、同年に九州工業大学若手研究者フロンティア研究アカデミーの特任准教授として着任。2020年に同学大学院工学研究院電気電子工学研究系の助教を経て、2023年11月に准教授に承認し、現在に至る。耐環境性を有する電気電子材料として、ワイドバンドギャップ半導体の結晶成長及びドーピング技術に関する研究に取り組んでいる。
Hereceived his Ph.D in Engineering from the Department of Quantum Process Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kyushu University in 2015, he was appointed as a specially appointed associate professor at the Kyushu Institute of Technology's Frontier Research Academy for Young Researchers in the same year. After serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology in April 2020, he was promoted to associate professor in November 2023, where he remains today. He is engaged in research on crystal growth and doping techniques for wide-bandgap semiconductors as environmentally resistant electrical and electronic materials.

2009年に東京大学大学院薬学系研究科で博士号を取得後、博士研究員として米国イリノイ大学アーバナシャンペーン校に留学。2010年7月より九州大学大学院薬学研究院の助教に着任。2017年1月より同講師、2023年4月より九州工業大学大学院工学研究院の准教授に着任し、現在に至る。環境調和型有機合成化学を基盤として、計算化学や情報科学を用いた効率的な有機化合物の合成法の開発を行っている。
After earning a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tokyo in 2009, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. In July 2010, he joined the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyushu University as an assistant professor. In January 2017, he was promoted to lecturer at the same institution, and in April 2023, he moved to the Graduate School of Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology as an associate professor. Based on environmentally benign organic synthesis chemistry, he is developing efficient methods for synthesizing organic compounds using computational chemistry and cheminformatics.

2020年に九州工業大学大学院生命体工学研究科生命体工学専攻にて博士(工学)の学位を取得後、同年4月、九州工業大学大学院工学研究院電気電子工学研究系の助教に着任。環境・エネルギー分野での利用を見据えた機能性材料を対象に、第一原理計算や機械学習を用いたシミュレーションにより、新しい材料の探索・設計や、物性が発現する仕組みの解明に取り組んでいる。
He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, in 2020. In April of the same year, he joined the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, as an Assistant Professor. His research focuses on functional materials for environmental and energy applications. He uses first-principles calculations and machine learning-based simulations to explore and design new materials and to understand how their physical properties emerge.

2019年東京大学大学院博士課程修了。博士(工学)。2019年 早稲田大学ナノ・ライフ創新研究機構博士研究員、2020年東北大学工学研究科ロボティクス専攻助教。2024年から九州工業大学大学院工学研究院助教。分子間相互作用を設計指針とした機能性イオン材料の創製を研究コアに据え、超分子イオンゲルやトランジェントエレクトロニクスを基盤とした生分解性バイオイオントロニクスの研究に従事。
Dr. Shunsuke Yamada received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2019. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Waseda University in 2019 and was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Robotics, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University in 2020. Since 2024, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the design of functional ionic materials based on intermolecular interactions, with particular emphasis on biodegradable bio-iontronics enabled by supramolecular ionic gels and transient electronics.

Completed the Graduate School of Kagoshima University in March 2009. Joined Fuji Electric Advanced Technology Co., Ltd. in April of the same year. Appointed Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology in April 2013, a position he holds to this day. Completed the Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Kagoshima University in March 2016. Ph.D. (Engineering). From May 2018 to April 2019, conducted overseas research at WEMPEC (Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. Primarily engaged in research on inverter-driven electric motors.
