Offered in full partnership with 25 Canadian universities, a Loran Award is valued at approximately $100,000 over four years of undergraduate study

Since 1995, TD has awarded millions in TD Scholarships for Community Leadership to recognize students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community leadership. TD Scholarships for Community Leadership recipients receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses as well as opportunities for paid summer employment, peer networking and mentorship.

You must currently be in your final year of secondary school and have not yet attended a post-secondary institution. If you’ve graduated from secondary school within the last three years, you’re still eligible - as long as you meet the additional requirements below.
You are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
Academic Admission Requirements:
You must have a minimum cumulative 90% academic average in your last completed year of high school.
If you currently attend school outside of Canada, your transcripts will be reviewed using an equivalency framework based on a 90% average.
Upon entry to first year university (September 2026), you must be between 17 and 22 years old; born between September 1 2004 and September 1, 2009.
You must apply to the Faculty of Arts & Science at the St. George campus through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) by the early admission deadline of November 7.
Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of our major admission awards.
Available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada
You may attend high school in Canada or internationally
Students taking a gap year can still apply for the major admission awards
Recipients will not be eligible for other merit-based scholarships

To be considered for the Award, applicants must meet be:
In good academic standing.
Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
Students graduating from secondary school
Involved in voluntary humanitarian activities (for which they have not been compensated).
Planning to or are already studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution
The maximum value of the award is $28,000, dispersed over four (4) years.

Be entrepreneurial-minded and intend to pursue a career in one or more of the following focus areas: (A) Technology; (B) Engineering; (C) Entrepreneurship and business enterprise; (D) Applied scientific research.
We are NOT considering students who:
Focus on activism (environmental/political/societal)
Intend to become a practicing physician and/or medical researcher (e.g. Doctor, Dentist, Nurse, Psychologist, Pharmacist, Optometrist, etc.)
Intend to become a Professor and conduct theoretical research

Eligibility criteria includes (but is not limited to):

Canadian citizen or permanent resident (Birth certificate or proof of residency if not Canadian Citizen).
Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
A short 2-3 minute video is welcomed, not required - detailing why the student desires this scholarship and why he/she believes they would be a good fit for the Jake Weitz Memorial Scholarship.

Mon Sheong Foundation is awarding two (2) recipients for the Mon Sheong Golden Jubilee Scholarship. The two selected recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship per year for the duration of their post-secondary studies, up to a maximum of 4 years (subject to renewal requirements).
The award is open to students who are:
1. Graduating from an Ontario, Canada high school or CEGEP with a minimum average of 80% among their top 6 Grade 12 or CEGEP marks;
2. Enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at a publicly funded Canadian university or college, scheduled to begin in Fall 2026;
3. Aspiring to have a greater impact through their education and experience.
DEADLINE:
University of Guelph top scholarships are worth $42,500 each, $8,250 annually for four years, plus $9,500 for a summer research assistanship position after first year!
Deadline is January 25th 2024.
National Scholarships are designed to recognize all-round excellence. They are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning, exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities and a special emphasis is placed on a candidate's commitment to community service through ongoing contributions to school and community life.
Students interested in this scholarship must be nominated by the Guidance Department. These nomination are granted on first come first served basis for most eligible candidates. Please see your guidance counsellor if you are interested in this scholarship.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: FEBRUARY 14, 2024
Students who have been nominated by their schools as National Book Award recipients may submit applications to the National Scholarship Program. In addition, students who identify themselves as meeting the scholarship criteria are invited to apply directly for the National Scholarship, without having been nominated for the Book Award.
