TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CadenceRun (the "App"), provided by Flowbit Labs ("we," "us," or "our").
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App. If you are below the age at which you can legally agree to these Terms in your country, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them on your behalf.
2. About CadenceRun
CadenceRun is a running cadence metronome that plays a beat at a user-selected SPM (steps per minute) to help users pace their walking or running.
The App provides local exercise history, an option to keep the screen on, background audio playback, and a playback status notification with a stop control.
CadenceRun does not require an App account and does not offer Google Play Games sign-in. A Google account may be required by Google Play to make or access purchases.
3. Exercise Safety and No Medical Advice
CadenceRun is a general fitness and pacing tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized exercise recommendations.
A selected SPM is a playback setting, not a determination that a particular cadence is safe or appropriate for you. The App does not guarantee fitness improvements, injury prevention, or the accuracy of any exercise-related information.
You are responsible for choosing an appropriate pace, considering your physical condition, and exercising in a safe environment. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate. Stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
Remain aware of traffic, obstacles, and other people. Use a safe listening volume and avoid adjusting the App while doing so would distract you from your surroundings.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flowbit Labs is not responsible for injuries or losses arising from your exercise choices, unsafe use, or reliance on the App. This does not exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Audio Playback and Device Features
The App produces metronome audio and does not require or use your microphone to provide its features.
Background playback, notification controls, and screen-on behavior depend on your device, operating system, permissions, battery settings, and other running apps. Playback may be interrupted or delayed.
Notification permission may be requested where required by Android. Restricting notifications or background activity may affect playback status visibility or access to notification controls.
Audio playback and keeping the screen on may increase battery usage. Stop playback when you no longer need it.
5. Local Exercise Records
Exercise records are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
The App retains exercise records for the most recent six months, subject to a maximum of 500 records. Older records are automatically deleted as these limits are applied, with the oldest records removed when the record limit is exceeded.
Records and settings may be lost when App storage is cleared, the App is uninstalled, or your device is reset, damaged, or replaced. Any operating-system backup or restoration depends on your device settings and platform behavior.
We do not provide a developer-operated cloud backup or guarantee recovery of deleted records.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The free version may display advertising through Google AdMob.
The App may rely on third-party services for ads, billing, and related analytics and crash reporting or diagnostics. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Third-party advertisements, websites, and services are not controlled by Flowbit Labs. Displaying an advertisement does not mean that we endorse the advertised product or service.

7. One-Time PRO Upgrade
Where available, CadenceRun offers a one-time PRO upgrade through Google Play Billing. PRO provides ad removal, additional metronome sounds, and additional number styles.
The PRO upgrade is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. The applicable price, currency, and taxes are shown in the Google Play purchase flow before you confirm the purchase.
Google Play processes payments. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Access to PRO depends on a valid purchase entitlement and may require Google Play connectivity to verify or restore that entitlement. When reinstalling the App or changing devices, use the Google account associated with the original purchase.
A refunded, canceled, or otherwise invalid purchase may result in removal of the corresponding PRO entitlement.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's applicable policies and your statutory consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that applicable law gives you.
8. Permitted Use and Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, lawful use, subject to these Terms.
You must not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, bypass payment or entitlement controls, distribute unauthorized copies, or use it in violation of applicable law.
The App's software, design, branding, sounds, and other content belong to Flowbit Labs or their respective licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you. Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
9. Availability, Updates, and Changes
We may update the App to improve functionality, address technical issues, or meet legal or platform requirements. Features and compatibility may change over time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device. Changes to paid features remain subject to applicable consumer protection law.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of local data.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flowbit Labs will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Ending Use
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device. Uninstalling the App does not automatically request a refund or delete Google Play purchase records.
Your permission to use the App ends if you materially breach these Terms, subject to applicable law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without excluding mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.
Disputes will be handled by courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any right to bring a claim in a court available to you under mandatory consumer law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will show a revised "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement before material changes take effect.
