John and Curt's Music

John Vere and Curt Garrison have played music together since 1980. John moved to Grand Forks and joined with Curt in the well known Folk/Country/Bluegrass band Fly By Night. Playing at Festivals, Ski hills, Dances, Parties and Bars of the west Kootenay's, Okanogan, Lower mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington and Idaho. John was the Bass player and Curt played Banjo and Guitar. Gary Gilbert was lead singer and Guitar and Brock Cheadle on Mandolin. Near the end Curt started playing Bass so John could play some lead guitar. 

  From time to time John, Curt and Gary would go play old Fly By Night songs at special events. 

Gary moved away but John and Curt to this day have kept those old songs alive as well as lots of new material including Johns Original songs. 

Johns son Jesse sitts in from time to time on Mandolin, Bass or guitar.
