Hsiu-Hung Chou 周秀鴻

I started teaching Mandarin Chinese as an I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. After emigrating to the United States, I studied English and the immersion teacher for 8 years and started at the current school in the same district 6 years ago. I am teaching all Chinese levels at North Mecklenburg High School while students are enrolled in World Language Magnet Program, IB, or elective courses. I also supervise the Chinese Club at school. 

Teaching youngsters and teenagers are very different experiences. I enjoy sharing my cultural experiences with my students and getting feedback from them. The prospective from students offers me some great extension of my mindsets and life-long learning journey.
