Mid to Late 19th Century French Sink Basin. This antique porcelain basin is hand painted with flow blue and gold highlights. The embossed Lion head is a rare and distinct feature. This grand embellishment is not only ornamental but is also multi-functional. The open mouth has two passages one provides overfill relief so the basin doesn't over flow and another passage that serves as a faucet and fills the bowl with water.

An incredible and rare 17th century (Ming Dynasty) Tibetan Thangka depicting the Buddha seated on a lotus throne. The Buddha is surrounded by fourteen deities mostly seated in prayer. The ground of the textile is made from hand-woven linen and is decorated using polychrome pigments. Approx 15" x 18"
