We are the Conservation Ambassadors Board (CAB), a youth group based in Chicago. Our goal is to provide information about how we as a community can conserve bird populations and foster a healthy realtionship with urban wildlife.

Our Journey
We had our first meeting in the fall of 2023. Starting with a focus on One Health and urban bird populations. Through a process of ideation and research, we finalized a website to inform communities about topics affecting birds. Those three topics are the dangers of cats outside, bird feeder-borne diseases, and bird collisions. These three topics are particularly relevant to people in urban areas and have accessible solutions. Our team hopes to inspire local communities to make a difference and examine their relationship with the wildlife around them.Â
