Morning Meeting

This is where we'll talk about the weather, days of the week, and how we're feeling today. Parents, take this as an opportunity to look out the window, or talk about the neighborhood walk you just took.

In school, we usually incorporate the Unit of Study into our neighborhood walk and then circle back around with our observations during morning meeting. As an example, right now, we are in Unit 6: Light, so emphasize items involving light (i.e. sun, lamp, flashlight), shadows and darkness or the night.
