Johanna Monti received her PhD in Theories, Methodologies and Advanced applications for Communication, Computer Science and Physics with a thesis in Computational Linguistics at the University of Salerno (IT) and is currently Professor of Modern Languages Teaching at L’Orientale University of Naples where she teaches Translation Theory, Specialised Translation, Machine Translation and CAT tools.She is also Rectoral Delegate for the Third Mission and Chief Scientist of the UNIOR NLP Research Group, local node in Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics of the CINI Italian Lab on Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems. Her research interests range from computational linguistics to Translation Technology. Annarita Magliacane joined the UNIOR NLP Research Group in November 2020. Previously, she lectured in Applied Linguistics at University College Cork (Ireland) and she was Teaching Fellow in English Linguistics at Aston University, Birmingham (United Kingdom). Annarita holds a PhD in Human Mind and Gender Studies - curriculum Language, Linguistics and English for Special Purposes from the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and a PhD in Applied Linguistics from University College Cork (Ireland). Her main research interests lie in Second Language Acquisition, with specific reference to the acquisition of English, Pragmatics, Spoken Discourse Analysis, Language Variation, Transnational mobility and Corpus Linguistics. Raffaele Manna is currently a PhD student and member of the UniOR NLP Research Group. His PhD project titled "Computational Stylometry: an interdisciplinary approach to behavioural profile" takes place in cooperation with Expert.ai.He earned a B.A. in Literary Studies at the University of Naples "Federico II" and an M.S. in Computational Linguistics at the University of Salerno. During his Master's years, as part of the Erasmus program, he studied Natural Language Processing in the Erasmus Language and Communication Technologies (LCT) programme at the University of the Basque Country.His research interests focus on Computational Stylometry, using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques: Authorship Profiling and Attribution; Figurative Language Processing and Distributional Semantics.More details about his research can be found on his ResearchGate profile.
Antonio Pascucci is an Innovative Industrial PhD Student in Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies at the L'Orientale University of Naples. His research project, fully supported by the PON Ricerca e Innovazione 2014-2020 fund, is titled "Computational Stylometry: an interdisciplinary approach to authorial profile" and is carried out in cooperation with the Expert.ai company and the RGCL of the University of Wolverhampton. In 2017, Antonio graduated in Modern Philology at the University of Salerno. He is also a member of the UNIOR NLP Research Group. Furthermore, he is a member of the COST Action 17124 "Digital Forensics. Evidence Analysis via Intelligent Systems and Practices". Wanda Punzi Zarino is a Research Assistant at the University of Naples L'Orientale and a member of the UNIOR NLP Research Group. She holds, from the University of Naples L’Orientale, a B.A. in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation with a thesis in Localization and a M.A. in Translation for Special Purposes, working on a thesis in cognitive linguistics. Vincenzo Simoniello holds a PhD in 'European Languages and Specialized Terminologies' from the University of Naples "Parthenope" (Italy) with a thesis in French linguistics focusing on Digital Communication languages in French. He is currently Adjunct Professor of French Language, Linguistics and Translation at the University of Naples "Federico II" and the University of Cassino (IT), and joined the UNIOR NLP Research Group as a Research Assistant in 2020.
