"The Stealth was the predecessor of the Stinger and is no longer in production. This boat can be distinguished mostly by the cut off stern and the lunch decks both in front and behind the paddler. This boat can also be distinguished between the stinger as the bottom of the hull is rounded and the stinger has the distinct flat section in the middle of the boat. The seat was generally mounted on a pedestal which is another characteristic that separates these boats from most of the other C1’s on the market. This would be a great boat for someone newer in the racing world as it is quite stable and turns with ease. In my opinion this is a pretty fast hull design and this was the boat I used to win the 2015 General Clinton C1 ameteur 70 miler. The only downside to this boat was they are a heavier than GRB’s newer C1’s designs mostly do to the larger amount of materials found on the boat such as the lunch decks, the gunnels, and the decks at the bow and stern of the boat."
