SEIDS Productions: Producer with a great self-starting campaign/mindset. The Logic Pro Crash Course PDF is the flagship product here (Huge resource guide for shortcuts and setup within the DAW), but they offer classes related to getting yourself started as a music producer and working with music tech companies. Check out their Instagram for more encouragement!
Dixon Beats: Great resource for new producers with a friendly atmosphere. Lots of breakdowns of plugins. No gatekeeping! Sometimes free plugin licenses on their site too.
Doors Open: A Resident Advisor company, and a not-for-profit electronic music opportunities platform.
Alex Reid: Producer with a rabbit head! Provides overviews and tips for producers, as well as the occasional giveaway!
Audio Pilz (Florian Pilz): Great YouTube resource for learning about the last 30+ years of synthesizers and hardware of all kinds. With a little humor too.
Knuckleduster Music: Georges Couling, a music producer who primarily helps folks with Logic Pro, but this is helpful info for everyone! Check out his Logic Pro Starter Pack for a nice free resource for beginners.
Soundformore Tutorials: Giveaways for iOS Apps frequently on this channel, as well as tutorials for recently-released plugins!
OpenDAW: Open source, in-browser DAW that is currently being developed but has a usable studio prototype. Here is the developer site where you can contribute to its development. It even works on the iPad!
Filter Forge: Graphics software with editor - particularly helpful for creating textures with opacity. Perpetual license for those who don't want to use Photoshop, plugin for those who do.

Soundfontguy: Virtual Instruments inspired by classic games. Visit his Ko-Fi page to comission him too! Check out his YouTube channel for some info on what a Soundfont is, anyway!
Nusofting: Creative free plugins for developers, with some sweet paid offerings as well.
Meat Beats: Cool, novel plugins in the realm of digital and FM synthesis. Many of them are romplers. Some, like Orbhits, are free! Price point between $0-$20.
UNDRGRND SOUNDS: Production house that has made some really cool sample packs. We own a few of them and can testify that they're awesome. Also, the graphic design of their website is very nice.
Freelance Writing Resources: Freelance writing is a profitable gig. Here's some starters to help you out.
Ravenwood Writing Academy: Consistent learning content and a nice newsletter - plus a free ebook, "8 Unexpected Gold Mines for Finding Freelance Writing Clients"! Run by Cody, a passionate freelancer who first found his footing in the healthcare niche. Find an archive of the newsletter here.
Location Rebel: Although the academy aspect of this blog is no longer active as of 2025, there are plenty of resources on the website and YouTube channel. Sean Ogle is the Oregon-based siterunner, and his two main projects are Breaking Eighty (a Golf blog) and Slightly Pretentious (A cocktail/mixed drink blog).
