C_Quin (She/They) is a multi-talented creative professional, freelance writer, and one half of the music collective 3rdPersonProductions. Specializing in visual artistry and musical composition, C_Quin brings a unique blend of technical skill, artistic vision, and collaborative spirit to every project.

Growing up in Redmond, WA just minutes from tech central giants like Nintendo and Microsoft, C_Quin learned how to read on a 1992 PowerMac instead of books. Always having a dream of operating a DAW, she picked up GarageBand in 2022 and graduated to Logic Pro in 2023. 

She released her debut electronic album “Keep It a Hobby” in early 2023, in subtle reference to something said to her about her desire to enter the music industry. Her second album, “Rhizome”, came out in late 2023. 

C_Quin is a freelance writer and editor, and is open to job offerings related to copywriting or blog posts, specifically in regards to music or creators.

She is currently working on an Industrial/Electronic album for 2025 by the name of Echo Foundry, A soundtrack for 2026, as well as a trans media project with a secret name, slated for 2028/9.

Experience (with 3rdPersonProductions)

Visual Art & Design:

• • Developed all-original social assets for 3rdPersonProductions, including unique ads on Instagram and promotional material for both Knowme and C_Quin.

• • Created custom artwork and illustrations for merchandise, album covers, and other branded materials.

• • Explored various visual styles and techniques, from digital illustration to mixed media, to enhance the visual appeal of 3rdPersonProductions' work.

Music Production & Sound Design:

• • Currently (as of September 2023) working on a “reels” project to give creators free atmospheric music for their Instagram reels and productions, will release when the project reaches 50 [EDIT 1/22/25: This project is being refitted into an album for 2025.]

• • Designed sound effects and audio elements to enhance the immersive quality of 3rdPersonProductions' work.

• Gives feedback to her partner Knowme/other half of 3rdPersonProductions - is involved in visual design/direction for Knowme, as well as production assistance on the albums "Fear and Trembling", and "Kingdom Come"

YouTube: 

• • "C_Quin Says": A video essay series on the intersection of music and gaming. Released every month or so.

  • "Logic Plugin Workshop": A series focused on workflows in Logic Pro 11. Released every Friday.

Projects & Accomplishments (with 3rdPersonProductions)

• Instagram Responsible for all copywriting, daily posts, "Artist Pick of the Week" write-ups, and "YouTube Pick" creator highlights.

• Playlisting Curates the "3rdPersonProductions Slaps.com Highlight Playlist" among others (Linked on Linktree), featuring the best artists discovered through extensive listening on slaps.com.

• Slaps.com: Actively engages in the slaps.com community on Saturdays/Sundays, keeping in mind artists we have had on our playlist previously and giving them shout-outs on our page every Thursday.

• Giveaways: in December 2024 3rdPerson launched their first giveaway for FRMS on iOS by Imaginando - & there are plans to have more in 2025.

• Audio News Room: Article contributor since Janurary 2024 for AudioNewsRoom, a music publication in operation since 2007. Finding the latest software and thoroughly testing, plus taking notes on usability of the software. Plugins are rated on a scale, plus pros and cons. Writes 1-2 reviews a month on average.

• Greater Music Community:  Active on the feeds of artists we engage with, other music lovers, paying it forward to the community, giving and seeking encouragement.

• Testing: Tested the open-source A.I. powered in-browser DAW, Wavtool in 2024 (stayed active in the public Discord), and published a review on AudioNewsRoom.

• Affiliate: Currently strategizing affiliate partnerships with music/audio tech companies like Krotos.

• TBA: Designing characters, environments, and visual effects, as well as composed music and sound effects for an independent multi/transmedia project slated for 2025-2026.
