In this project, students work in small groups to research and collaborate, comparing and contrasting global communities in terms of their technology use and availability. I’m interested in the differences between the government and technology these places have.
I learned how South Korea is far more advanced then Brazil when it comes to technology
Lesson learned is the profound impact of cultural values on lifestyle choices and societal structures. For instance, South Korea's strong emphasis on Confucian principles promotes a highly competitive environment where education and career success are prioritized, often leading to long working hours and a focus on technology-driven leisure activities. In contrast, Brazil's diverse cultural heritage fosters a more communal and celebratory lifestyle, where social interactions and festivals play a central role in daily life, reflecting a relaxed approach to work-life balance. This comparison highlights how cultural contexts shape not only individual behaviors but also collective societal norms, demonstrating the importance of understanding these differences in an increasingly globalized world.
