Research projects

Our research projects focus on the design of porous/conjugated polymers for energy & environmental applications.

cONJUGATED POLYMERS

FOR VISIBLE-LIGHT-DRIVEN PHOTOCATALYSIS

We are interested in polymeric photocatalysts which feature versatile photophysical and electronic properties by a fine structural design. We are trying to control their band structures and wetting properties for target-specific reactions as water splitting, oxygen reduction, nitrogen fixation, antibacterial treatment, etc.

Porous polymers

FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS

We design the porous polymers by 'porosity' and 'chemistry' rules for selective adsorption of targeted compounds, e.g. CO2 molecules in the air, micropollutants in water, and organic vapors.
