Our research projects focus on the design of porous/conjugated polymers for energy & environmental applications.
We are interested in polymeric photocatalysts that feature versatile photophysical and electronic properties through a fine structural design. We are trying to control their band structures and wetting properties for target-specific reactions, such as water splitting, oxygen reduction, nitrogen fixation, antibacterial treatment, etc.
We design the porous polymers by 'porosity' and 'chemistry' rules for selective adsorption of targeted compounds, e.g., CO2 molecules in the air, micropollutants in water, and organic vapors.
