Hello! Welcome to the BYU ASL Association! We're excited to have you here and hopefully joining us for some of our activities. We have many to choose from and something for everyone.
The purpose of the BYU ASL Association is for ASL students to practice their sign language, learn ASL grammar, and expound their vocabulary. It gives students opportunities to have fun and meet new people while learning a new language. Our club offers a wide variety of activities, which include: vocabulary, fluency, Deaf history, and Deaf culture games as well as appreciating Deaf community speakers, movies, and information. In the past we have had deaf panels, where the students get to ask deaf students questions about sign language; we have learned church signs in the weeks preceding General Conference. Currently, we are not involved with any national organizations.
