Core Belief
We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He died and rose again defeating the powers of evil including our sin and death itself.
We have unity in all our beliefs and we have charity.
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection of the body. He hung, bled and died for us, so that we would have a right to the tree of life (everlasting life).
Amen.
Values
We value God. Every person has the right to establish a personal relationship with God. God wants a relationship with every person. We believe that God is love (John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life). Therefore, God is still speaking and Jesus is the voice, and love of God through the Holy Spirit.
We value the Bible: every Christian has the right to study and interpret the bible freely.
We value Every Person. Everyone is made in the image of God. No one is without sin (Romans 3:23- for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God), yet we strive to live a life that is pleasing to God.
We value church. Every church seeks to follow Christ in the affairs of worship, service and teachings. The church as the body of Christ will seek to be a welcoming place to learn about Jesus, love our neighbor and worship God.
