Login
Enter PIN or password. You can easily toggle between PIN/password. In case of multiple user accounts, you will have an option to switch user.
Click Login.
Note: Help can be accessed directly from the logon screen by clicking (?) icon as well as from within the app.
Fingerprint [PRO]
User will be prompted for Fingerprint by default, if enabled, on supported Android 6.0 or higher devices. Cancel if you want to use alternate method. Click fingerprint image again to login using fingerprint.
Note: Fingerprint must be enabled first time for the user via Settings->Fingerprint.
Add User
Click "Add User" to add a new user or account e.g. your Personal vs Office accounts.
Add a username and other details.
Use Secret Questions for password recovery.
Add/Edit new record
Click "+" button at the bottom to add, OR
Click on existing record to view and press Edit icon in the action bar to edit.
Fill-in mandatory (Category and Title) and optional fields.
Add/remove fields as required. Note: Duplicate fields are allowed.
Move and rearrange by long pressing the fields.
[Optional] You can create custom fields straight from this screen and add.
Click save in the action bar.
Generate password
Click refresh button to generate dynamic password, or
Click "Generate Password" option from the menu to view the settings and generate password.
Note: Generate password settings can also be accessed via settings.
View a record
Click on existing record that opens record in view mode.
Share
Click on Share menu option
Select messaging app
All fields marked "Allow share" will be shared over selected messaging app. Tip: If you are unsure, select "Copy to clipboard" and then edit and share.
Copy
Click on Copy menu option
Edit and save as required.
Note: It creates a new record. This option lets user quickly create new records from existing records.
Delete a record
Option 1
Click on the menu from the record.
Select Delete from the menu.
Click OK to confirm.
Note: You can undo the delete by selecting UNDO from the snack-bar message on the screen.
Option 2
Click View from the menu on the record.
Click Trash icon in the action bar.
Click OK to confirm.
Archive/Unarchive
Option 1
Click on the menu from the record.
Select Archive/Unarchive from the menu.
Option 2
Open the record in the edit mode.
Click Archive/Unarchive icon in the action bar.
View archived records
Open the navigation menu.
Click Archive.
Note: You can now view the number of records from the navigation menu.
Search/Sort
Search
Click Search button in the action bar.
Records will be filtered as you type.
Sort
Category is the default sort order.
To change, click Sort in the menu options.
Select appropriate sorting order and click OK.
Backup/Restore
Create/Restore Backup
Click Settings in the navigation bar.
Click "Create Backup" or Restore Backup" button.
Note: Backup is created and restored from Downloads folder in the Internal Storage.
Share Backup
Click "Settings>Share Backup".
Select sharing app through which you want to share the file.
You can keep a copy of backup file on cloud storage to prevent accidental data loss or share and restore backup on another device you use.
Auto Backup
Enable auto backup by clicking "Settings>Enable auto backup".
Note: It is highly recommended to create backup of your data as frequently as you can to avoid any accidental data loss. Enable auto backup gives you peace of mind as it creates backup in Downloads folder on logging out.
CSV Import/Export
Click Settings>Import/Export in the navigation bar.
[Optional] Select delimiter. Default is comma (',').
Import
Click Import to import records from CSV file.
Select file from the file explorer.
Note: "Category" and "Title" are mandatory fields. Any fields other than base fields will be imported as custom fields. Import/export feature is built using Storage Access Foundation (SAF) and supports cloud storage providers. So you can import directly from Google drive, Box etc.
Tips:
Wrap each field in double quotes ("").
Export couple of records to check the import format.
Export
Click export to export.
[Optional] Type the name of the file and click save.
Dark Theme/Night Mode
Enable Dark Theme via Settings
Note: Dark Theme is NOT per account/user, so the setting applies to the app.
