Abstract

This e-portfolio discusses Salai Jin as one of the forms of local wisdom found in the Tidore community. Salai Jin is a cultural tradition that is closely related to local beliefs and has been passed down from generation to generation. This tradition reflects the cultural values and spiritual beliefs that are still recognized by some members of the community. As part of the cultural heritage of Tidore, Salai Jin represents the relationship between tradition, belief, and the social life of the people.

The purpose of this project is to explain the meaning, background, and cultural significance of Salai Jin in the life of the Tidore community. This e-portfolio also describes how this tradition reflects the identity and local wisdom of the people of Tidore. In addition, it highlights the importance of preserving traditional practices as part of cultural heritage in a rapidly developing modern society.

By understanding Salai Jin, readers are expected to gain a better understanding of the cultural diversity and local wisdom that exist in the Tidore community. This project also aims to increase awareness about the importance of preserving local traditions so that they can continue to be recognized and appreciated by future generations.
