Terms & Conditions – BITE App

Introduction
Welcome to BITE, an application owned and operated by BX GROUP OF COMPANY, managed by Muhammad Shoaib. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the BITE mobile app and its related services, including order placement, messaging, business account features, and payment processing. By using our app, you agree to comply with these Terms.
User Types
BITE offers two main types of accounts:
• Personal User – Can browse, search, and order food items, view promotions, and message business users.
• Business User – Can register a shop, upload and edit items, manage orders, and promote listings using deposited balance.
Account Registration
Both personal and business users must register using Google Sign-In, which provides your name, email, and profile image.
Business users must also provide shop name, owner details, shop description, payment information, and location.
BITE reserves the right to verify any information or request additional details.
Data Storage and Security
All user data (including accounts, orders, messages, and payments) is securely stored on our servers. Each user has a unique ID for tracking and security.
Messaging System
Users can send messages within the app to communicate about orders or payments. BITE may monitor or review conversations for dispute resolution or security purposes.
Deposits and Balance System
Business users can deposit funds into their BITE wallet by submitting a payment receipt or screenshot.
The BITE team manually verifies each deposit before approving the balance.
Deposited funds can be used only for promoting items within the app.
Payment and Order Processing
Personal users can place orders and upload payment screenshots for verification.
Business users are responsible for delivering their orders directly.
Payments are processed manually through the BITE team, ensuring safety for both sides.
7.1 Transaction, Promotion, and Service Fees
The BITE system includes transaction fees and promotional service charges applicable to both business and personal users.
When a user places an order, both the buyer and the business user may be required to pay a small service or processing fee to cover transaction and platform costs.
Business users may also pay promotion fees from their approved wallet balance to advertise or boost their items within the app.
All such fees are displayed before confirmation and are non-refundable once the related service (order, promotion, or transaction) is processed.
These fees help maintain system operations, verification, and secure order processing between users.
Verification and Follow System
Business accounts may receive verification badges based on authenticity and performance.
Users can follow shops to stay updated on new deals and offers.
Promotions and Advertising
Business users may promote their listings using their approved wallet balance. BITE reserves the right to reject promotions that violate guidelines or contain misleading content.
Profile Management
Both user types can edit their profiles anytime. Business users can edit their shop details, description, and uploaded items.
Location Access
The app requires access to user and shop locations to ensure accurate delivery and service availability.
Fraud and Misuse
If BITE suspects any fraudulent behavior—such as fake payments, false claims, or misuse of services—we reserve the right to take immediate action including temporary or permanent account suspension.
Payment Verification and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Manual Payment Verification
Payments made for orders are manually verified by the BITE team.
Users (personal or business) must upload payment receipts or screenshots.
The BITE team checks and confirms payment completion before processing the order or deposit.
13.2 Dispute Handling
If a user claims an issue (e.g., non-delivery or payment problem), the BITE team investigates by reviewing order history, messages, and evidence.
During investigation, certain features (like promotions or ordering) may be temporarily paused.
Both parties must cooperate to resolve disputes efficiently.
13.3 Account Restrictions
If fraudulent behavior or repeated issues are found, BITE may:
• Temporarily disable new orders for the business user.
• Freeze promotional or wallet features.
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts (business or personal).
13.4 Refunds and Resolutions
If the investigation confirms an issue, BITE will take corrective measures including refund recommendations or account adjustments.
Refunds depend on payment method and findings.
Updates to Terms
BITE may update these Terms anytime. Continued app usage after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.
