Keynotes

This year we are excited to welcome three wonderful speakers to the conference.

• Elizabeth Bohls

-Dr. Bohls is the Associate Department Head in English at the University of Oregon. Her most recent publication is Slavery and the Politics of Place: The Colonial Caribbean, 1770-1833, published by Cambridge University Press.

• Elizabeth Hope Chang

-Dr. Chang is an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri. Her most recent publication, Novel Cultivations: Plants in British Literature of the Global Nineteenth Century, is forthcoming in 2019 through the University of Virginia Press.

• Lesa Scholl

-Dr. Scholl is the Head of School for Kathleen Lumley College. Her most recent publication is Hunger Movements in Early Victorian Literature: Want, Riots, Migration, published by Ashgate.
