CSX Heritage Units

CSX’s heritage units are specially painted locomotives honoring the railroads that built today’s CSX system. Introduced in 2023, the fleet features classic paint schemes from lines like Seaboard, Chessie, and B&O, as well as more obscure railroads such as the Pan Am, C&IE, and ACL. These engines run in regular service, celebrating rail history while hauling freight across the CSX network
