In week 3, our group successfully completed the construction of the vertical structure design using plastic cardboard as part of our project.
Agitator Measurement: Upon measuring the dimensions of the agitator, we found that it measures 30 cm x 24.7 cm. This measurement was crucial for ensuring that our structure would fit properly.
Initial Size Plans: We planned to create a structure with dimensions of 30 cm x 30 cm. However, we discovered that this size was too large for the agitator, which prompted us to reconsider our design.
Adjusted Dimensions: To accommodate the agitator's size, we adjusted our structure dimensions to 30 cm x 24 cm. This change was essential to ensure that the vertical structure would function effectively within the given parameters.
OUR PROCEDURE TO BUILD THE VERTICAL STRUCTURE INVOLVED SEVERAL KEY STEPS:
STEP 1:
Measuring: We carefully measured the plastic cardboard according to the new dimensions to ensure accuracy.
STEP 2:
Cutting: After measuring, we proceeded to cut the plastic cardboard to the specified sizes.
STEP 3:
Assembling: Finally, we assembled the structure by joining the cut pieces together using a hot glue gun, ensuring a strong and stable build.
