Vice President Job Duties include:
Serve as members of the district board reporting on building items to the board.
Promote the PTO and school district in a good light at all times.
Arrange for and lead 3 building meetings per year of all PTO officers and chairs
Fills school level chair positions and/or arrange for events to be organized.
Create the annual building level budget.
Be a good representative of the building at the district level as well as about the district at the building level.
Work closely with school principals for the betterment of all Brookview students and staff.
Serve as a liaison between the school principal and the PTO. This includes coordinating all school wide communications requested by the PTO Chairs.
Co-Vice Presidents must submit to a background check before accessibility to building level financial accounts is granted.
Coordinate the order of school supply boxes with the District PTO.
Work with Communications chair to post/e-mail school supply order information during the summer months.
Serve as a sounding board, support and backup for all chairs.
Meet with Principal to approve the fiscal year budget and set goals for the school year prior to the beginning of the year.
Revise and update “Brookview PTO Building Level Standing Rules” on a yearly bases or as needed.
