Mrs. Smith

Hi!

My name is Megan Smith . This is my 8th year at Bridgeview Elementary, but it's my 14th year teaching. I live on the other side of the river in Rock Island with my husband- Zach, our son-Nolan, our daughter- Nora, our youngest- Dylan. We spend most of our time outside together doing just about anything, but mainly it is on the ball diamond, field, or court depending on the season. In our free time we also like to swim, golf, and spend time with our friends and family.

I'm a Rock Island native, so I'm a 2003 Alleman High School alum. I attended Loras College in Dubuque, IA for my undergraduate program in elementary education. I received a master's degree specializing in K-12 reading in 2013.

I look forward to meeting new students each school year. I strive for a productive, active, and successful year. I enjoy watching each and every student make growth from the beginning to the end of the year.
