Case study: Solution Design Component/Project Management, Part A
The target audience, the data or information that will be utilised and how it will be obtained, the participants who will use the information system, and the information technology that will be used must all be specified by the students to accomplish this project.
• The student is responsible for retaining a notebook that contains all work starting on the first day of class. This journal will get the finished project (s).
• Detailed information regarding the dates, hours, participants, equipment used, and work accomplished should be included in the journal.
Understand the issue
Make requirements report on needs that includes the following details:
The system's objective, a context diagram of the present system and an analysis of the current system
Planning
The benefits and risks of a project are scheduled in a formal document.
Create a Gantt chart to show the likely time period for implementation
Plan out every feasible activity that has to be completed for the project, taking into account the time required for software training, the deadline for each task, and the time allotted to it.
Designing
Create the required diagrams.
The suggested system is shown using a context diagram, a data dictionary, and a data flow.
Your suggested solution should also include a list of any ethical and/or security hazards, particularly those that concern the nature of the data being held online.
Consider how you may improve your design to address these issues.
Implementation
Creation of a plan for putting the suggested method into action.
A suggestion for a method of implementation and an explanation of your choice.
Testing, evaluating and maintaining
By testing and assessing the solution using actual test data, you may determine whether the project's original goals have been reached. Make an operating manual that describes the procedures a participant must follow to use the system.
The project log should include the task objective, completed tasks, and teacher comments for each lesson.
Multimedia Presentation - Part B
Using a multimedia presentation, you must detail each action required to fulfil each task in this area.
To create the final product, you must record each step you did during the development process (including any setbacks or failures).
The presentation must have videos showing the development of the solution and adhere to sound multimedia design principles that take usability, user navigation, and audience targeting into account.
