Jocelyn is a treasure. She was great at keeping a family environment, taking care of the children's individual needs, and working to meet their milestones. Choosing Busy Bees was the best decision we ever made for our children. Over the span of seven years (2017–2024), Busy Bees became so much more than a daycare. Jocelyn and her teachers truly became a part of our family. Both of my children grew up here: my son stayed until 1st grade and my daughter started at 6 weeks old and stayed until pre K. (If I could have kept her there another year, I would have in a heartbeat.) My son became an avid reader under their care and still reads well above grade level today. Our daughter, had a lot of medical issues during her first year, and Busy Bees was a total lifesaver. They weren't just caregivers; they were advocates, counselors, and friends. Not only were my children well prepared to enter the public school setting, they were (and still are) utilizing the foundational teaching they received while at Busy Bees. Furthermore, they teach children how to be "good humans." Jocelyn created a true community where every child is truly accepted, loved, and taught the value of kindness. I truly cannot recommend Busy Bees enough. They have built a beautiful community of families and provided my children with an environment where they could truly thrive. Ms. Jocelyn joined our family as a nanny/caretaker through Care.com in 2015, caring for our children when they were 6 months, 2 years, and 4.5 years old. She was wonderful in every way—always knowing exactly what to do, incredibly good with children, and able to calmly soothe and settle them no matter the situation. She quickly became more than a caregiver; she was a trusted part of our family and remains my youngest child’s absolute favorite person. Even now, as our kids are all teens, we continue to stay in touch because Jocelyn is such a genuinely kind, dependable, and remarkable person. Incredible place to bring your kiddos! The owner is warm and comforting while also making sure the children have both structured play time and educational time. She was extremely understanding when funds were tight and worked with me to make sure I had a place for my kids to go.
