You should make your own travel arrangements. STFC and UK self-funded students may claim their travel costs back from STFC.

Arrival

Participants are expected to arrive and check-in to their accommodation on Sunday, 19 August 2018 at Balliol College Porters Lodge, Oxford. Check-in is from 2pm onwards (luggage can be stored any time); report to the porters lodge for registration and key collection. Please bring photo ID for check-in; non-UK citizens should bring their passport.

Accommodation

Accommodation for all participants who require it will be at Balliol College, Oxford in single rooms with en-suite bathrooms, only a few minutes' walk to the School venue.

Venue and Programme

All lectures and tutorials will take place within the Oxford physics department in the Dennis Sciama Lecture theatre. The schedule and locations will be shown on the programme which will appear here. Hard copies will also be available at registration. You should consult the programme and find out more details.

Departure

The School programme will finish on Friday, 31st August at lunchtime, and you should checkout from Balliol in the morning (please allow sufficient time to checkout).
