Programme & Venue

Participants are expected to arrive and check-in to their accommodation at Balliol College Porters Lodge on Sunday, 19th Aug 2018. Please see Travel & Accommodation for arrival details. The School programme will start on Monday, 20th Aug at 9am sharp (Dennis Sciama Lecture Theatre in the Denys Wilkinson Building) and it will finish on Friday, 31st Aug at 12pm.

The programme can be found below followed by a map of Oxford. Course material (lecture notes, slides & problem sheets) is being made available here as the BUSSTEPP programme progresses. The tutorial group assignments will be listed here. The timetable of the student talk sessions will be shown here.

The key locations for BUSSTEPP are below. The lectures and tutorials are held in the Denys Wilkinson Building (which looks like a giant inverted concrete cheese grater). Accommodation check in is at Balliol College porters' lodge, while most accommodation is on Jowett Walk.
