For directions and maps to the School venue within the main campus of UCL, go to www.ucl.ac.uk/maps. The main campus is located in Bloomsbury, close to Euston and King's Cross / St. Pancras stations. Tube stations nearby the accommodation / venue are Warren Street, Goodge Street and Euston Square stations. For an overview of the locations, see the map below.
You should make your own travel arrangements. STFC and UK self-funded students may claim their travel costs.
Participants are expected to arrive and checkin to their accommodation on Sunday, 20th Aug 2017 at Ramsay Hall, 20 Maple Street, London, W1T 5HB. Checkin is from 2pm onwards (luggage can be stored any time); report to reception for registration and key collection. Please bring photo ID for checkin; non-UK citizens should bring their passport.
Between 2-5pm, there will also be a School registration desk where you will receive your information pack. Dinner will be served on Sunday at Ramsay Hall between 5-7pm.
If you are unable to register between 2-5pm on Sunday, go straight to the lecture venue Pearson Building (North East Entrance) G22 LT (within UCL main quad, see map below) before 8.45am on Monday, 21st Aug. Lectures will start 9am sharp.
Accommodation for all participants who require it will be at the UCL student residence Ramsay Hall (in single rooms with shared bathroom facilities), only a few minutes' walk to the School venue.
All lectures and tutorials will take place within the main campus of UCL. The schedule and locations will be shown on the programme which can be found here. You will also receive a hard copy in your information pack. You should consult the programme and find out more details.
The School programme will finish on Friday, 1st Sep at 12pm. You should checkout of Ramsay Hall before 8.30am (allow extra time for the checkout process). You can store your luggage at Ramsay Hall.
