Locally, we cover Bury, Radcliffe, Ramsbottom and Tottington. We also serve worldwide with Lions International Foundation providing humanitarian needs.
In Lions we have many Membership types: Regular, Family, Student and Leo and transfer Member, associate member, friends of lions, affiliate member
A regular member is the most common membership type. Family Members allows for relatives to volunteer together. Student members are for those enrolled in education between 18 and under 30. Leos are young people interested in Lions International, Transfer members are those who have recently left a town/country where they were a member of a club but due to relocation can join the local club; Associate members are members who are active in another club and are associates in another. Friends of Lions are those who cannot commit full time to being a Lion but are willing to commit several hours in their free times to volunteer at events when asked. Affilliate Members are people who are not able to particiapate as a active member but desires to support the club and its community.
