Burwalls House

Burwalls conferences started in 1980 in a grand house called 'Burwalls' in Bristol, and have continued by tradition ever since. In recent years the Burwalls meeting has become peripatetic, held in turn at the institutions where participants work.

Burwalls 2024: University of Manchester

Burwalls is pairing up with the first UK Conference on Teaching Statistics (UKCOTS) this year.

The conference will be held at the University of Manchester, 13-14 June, 2024.

Burwalls 2023: Queen’s University Belfast

The 2023 conference, was hosted by Queen’s University Belfast - it was the first in-person Burwalls meeting since COVID-19.
