Nothing has been written about this Thomas as far as I can find. There are many Thomas Harrison's in the Loudoun County area of Virginia at the same time. One is Reverend Thomas Harrison who is wealthy and owned many slaves. He also had a son name Thomas and many times in the records this son is recorded as Thomas (of Thomas). By a process of elimination that leaves a Thomas Harris (not Harrison) who I believe is the brother of Obed Harris and son of Burr Calvert Alias Harrison. Thomas appears in Loudoun County and in the personal property tax records of Prince William County during many of the same years as Obed. I do not believe that Thomas moved to Newberry County, South Carolina along with is father.

Could this Thomas Harris, brother of Obed and son of Burr Calvert Alias Harrison be the father of the Jesse Harris who moved to Culpeper County and Buncombe County, NC? The YDNA is an exact match on Jesse.
Some researchers have concluded that the Thomas who died in Newberr/Abbeville in 1826 was the son of Burr Calvert Alias Harrison but I believe they are in error. This Thomas Alston Harris descendants have been placed in Family Tree YDNA Group 3 and not 5. Thomas Alston Harris has been identified as the son of John Harris and his second wife Rebecca McBay, Family Search ID# LHSC-3Q3 and also found in the Mifflintown Document Vol. 3.
