Hello, i'm Saad Abounasr, an 18 year old indie dev from Morocco. My interest in making games began when i was 6, i saw the beauty of classic games, the way they brought the family together, the way each franchise sparks entire cultures, and i immediately knew that i wanted to create such experiences myself. I started with playing sandbox games, as they were the closest i could get to making my own games, but at 9, i was introduced to Scratch by my primary school teachers. It wasn't a powerful engine, but it was a start. I was stuck with that until i hit 12, around the time of the pandemic, i had to stay home, every day, with nothing to do, and that was when i decided to download Unity. Ever since then, i honed my skills and got better day by day, and with each key press, with each mouse click, and with each implemented idea, i saw myself getting closer and closer to my dream: creating beautiful experiences that bring people together.
Here's a carousel containing my most notable works as well as some YouTube videos. I have more content like this on Instagram as reels, so definitely check those out too!
I've been using Unity for 5 years, both used URP and HDRP.
I'm a generalist, able to make all sorts of different games.
I publish assets on the Unity asset store under the alias "Bunssar!". Check out my page:
Native in Darija, fluent in Arabic, French & English.
Decent in Spanish, and currently learning Albanian.
I'm not only a game dev. I use Blender for modeling, animating, and VFX. I'm also very good at video editing and motion graphics in After Effects. I use FL Studio and a Yamaha keyboard to make music, and i'm also passionate about photography and videography.
I occasionally use Arduinos and Raspberry Pis to make different interesting projects, such as a gyroscopic stabilizer i made for my end of the year engineering project. I made the gyroscope myself for it from scratch, and i also interfaced it with Unity to write a driver using Ardity.
