Having your citations finished before starting to take notes may be a time-saver.
Here are some suggested note-taking methods:
Choose your three areas of focus and decide how to organize your information.
Cornell Notes (recommended):
Cornell Notes.pdfAnother method would be organizing your notes with one area of focus on each page or section. This may be preferred by some, but a big thing to remember is the citation for each article as you include information in your notes.
Each chunk of text should have an in-text citation included so you will remember where that info came from.
