All resources must be cited to avoid accusations of plagiarism. We have a collection of citation resources to refresh your practice: Citation Resources
Direct quotations or paraphrases in your paper or presentation need in-text citations. In-text citations are included after the passage you have used and the punctuation is outside of the parentheses.
All in-text citations are expanded in your Works Cited page (for a paper) or in your Works Consulted page (for a visual presentation). This is the last page of your paper or the last slide of a PowerPoint and the entries are alphabetized with hanging indents. Sample Research Paper
For internet citation, it's best to use a citation generator like *EasyBib, just make sure that none of the essential elements of a citation have been skipped.
Example:
“Federal States of Germany.” Deutschland.De, Fazit Communication GmbH and Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, 18 May 2022, https://www.deutschland.de/en/topic/politics/germany-europe/federal-states.
Its in-text citation will be ("Federal States").
A database will provide a ready-made citation for you.
Example:
Miller, Ben. "Germany Wrestles With Wagner's Legacy." New York Times, 12 Apr. 2022, p. C3(L). Gale In Context: High School, link.gale.com/apps/doc/A700135918/SUIC? u=mtlib_2_1037&sid=bookmark-SUIC&xid=5b9f7f57. Accessed 26 Sept. 2022.
