Hatching eggs and chicks

Local pickup is available. However, due to farm bio-security, a public meeting place with be arranged prior to pick up. We take bio-security very seriously. Practicing good bio-security protects our flock as well as your new flock.

SORRY, WE DO NOT ALLOW FARM VISITS!

Please know that we are a small farm and not a large commercial hatchery and may have waiting lists for chicks and hatching eggs.

Orders will be shipping on a first come, first serve basis. I will do my best to accommodate special month/day requests. Payment must be received in advance for shipped hatching eggs or chicks. Chicks and hatching eggs will only ship when the weather permits.

Hatching eggs:

Our hatching eggs are collected daily and stored properly until purchase. We hatch weekly from spring to fall and check our fertility often. We have great hatch rates on the farm from all of our pens.

If you order hatching eggs we try to ship on Mondays and Tuesdays but can ship another day if requested by buyer. We package our eggs in egg cartons with shavings and bubble wrap as well as box full of shavings to make sure eggs stay in place.

Please understand that eggs may have some dirt on them. I do my best to collect the eggs as soon as possible in the hopes of getting them before they get dirty. However, here in Tennessee, mud is a year round thing and some of my hens make it their goal to get into the muddiest areas they can find and then go in the nest boxes. Most of my hens are Brahmas and they have thick feathering on their feet, which allows for tracking mud with ease. I will not send eggs dirtier than what I have hatched myself, but if the possibility of less than perfectly clean eggs is a problem, please don't order.
