The National FFA Organization is an organization that's devoted to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Reasons to get involved in FFA:
-FFA is an intra-curricular organization for agriculture students. Students are provided opportunities for growth in the terms of leadership, career related skills, and social skills.
-Being a member of FFA will satisfy a graduation requirement, if you are not involved in a sport, organization, or community service.
-We incorporate FFA activities in class regardless of if a student is an FFA member or not.
-Our FFA chapter has a monthly meeting (typically on the last Wednesday of the month) where we provide information, food, and an activity. We have competitions at the state and regional level related to public speaking and career readiness activities. We take a number of field trips each year, we travel to our National and State Convention. We also visit the Kentucky State Fair, the North American Rodeo, the National Farm Machinery show and more.
