Research Projects

Most of the projects, I have supervised and participated, are related with electric vehicle and smart grid. Also the projects are mostly experimental based research activities. 

1. Operating a residential area consist of smart houses due to the demand response strategies, funded ($20,000) by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Advisor, June 2015- June. 2016.

2. Design and implementation of a dc-dc power converter for energy management in fuel-cell/ultracapacitor hybrid power train in electric vehicles, funded ($ 8,426) by Yildiz Technical University (Scientific Research Projects), PI (Applicant), Aug. 2014 – Dec. 2016.

3. Design and implementation of a double input and bi-directional dc-dc power converter for energy management in battery/ultracapacitor hybrid power train in electric vehicles, funded ($126,000) by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK-1003), PI (Applicant), Sep. 2013- March 2016.

4. Design a smart plug for energy management in smart-grid, Collobarated with VİKO by Panasonic, funded ($85,000) by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Science Industry and Technology (SANTEZ), Researcher (Co-PI) Oct. 2013 – Sep. 2014.

5. Design and prototype a PEM fuel-cell for portable and stationary applications, funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK-TEYDEP) 1507, Advisor, Aug. 2013 – Aug. 2014.

6. Integration of Nonlinear Dynamic Loads into Next Generation Navy Ships, funded by Office of Naval Research, Postdoctoral Researcher, September 2011- June 2012.
